Did a search on here and there are no threads for the classic linn drum!

I've got one on the bench, the batteries have leaked. It's made a hell of a mess of the power supply PCB. I stripped it down and gave it a scrub. Nice and clean now. Put new batteries in & replaced all the molex connections which had become brittle. It now powers up, but it doesn't do much....just sits there with all the lights on, just like in this post here;

Any ideas anyone? All the voltage rails measure fine, the battery backup is working. Master clock is present and the 'power stable' circuit is working. After that it goes all Z80 and I'm not that savvy with digital gear!

Is there a way you can do a hard reset on the machine, eg powering up with a button pressed or something?
Good luck!

There is a memory reset, but this unit isn't responding to any button presses.

Interesting thing on that thread about the transformer. This unit is set to 240V, I'm running it at 240V. Might power it up on the variac, can't see it doing anything but worth a try
