I'm trying to find where I can get 4 of these twist lock things. They are needed for some MCI power supplies. DOes anyone have any or know where I can get some please.
Thanks Brian. Pete is a very good friend of mine, we speak regularly. He doesn't have any ideas on this. There's a forum member who goes by porkyc who was a London dealer and/or repair station for MCI. I "met" him years ago on a now defunct MCI forum. He might have some additional ideas, but he's not here all that often.

Thanks Cemal, they are not quite the right things. I will post a pic of the other side of them tomorrow.Hi Rob,

If any of them matches your need, you can e-mail them for retailers as they will have a minimum order quantity. For example Mouser has some of their range

Thanks for that, I remember them when I had my Trident console 20 years ago. Unfortunatley I don't think they would work in this context.Plastic I know, but would one of the Heyco Snap latches fit in the existing hole?

I'm familiar with using this type of panel fastening hardware by a company called "DZUS". I used them on some of my earliest enclosure designs back in the late-60s and during the 70s. This type of hardware falls into the category of "Quarter-Turn" fasteners.I'm trying to find where I can get 4 of these twist lock things. They are needed for some MCI power supplies. Thanks for taking the time to share these links. Having gone through all of them, even the Dzus (unbelievably extensive) range unfortunately none of them have what I'm looking for. The Camloc fasteners that Scott2000 linked to have what I need. In particular the Camloc V936F series.I'm familiar with using this type of panel fastening hardware by a company called "DZUS". However, this type of fastener with that "big-honking" knob on it just might be a "custom" part, as this type of hardware is usually of a "low-profile" style or maybe a rather small knob at the most.

A couple of years ago or so, I came across a particular series of these quarter-turn panel fasteners that would just fit and be really nice to use on a "500-Serries" module front-panel to hold the module into a "Lunchbox" enclosure. I would find using this type of fastening hardware to be preferable to use instead of using the normal #4-40 or metric-equivalent loose fastening screws. But, that's just me.
You can try these links for other newer, yet similar hardware companies:

Thanks for taking the time to share that brand. The Camloc V936F series are exactly what I'm after. Just need to find someone who will supply me with only 10 of them !Camloc fastener / camloc snap fit shows up some similar looking things...
Thanks for the offer, I have found that they are the Camloc V936F series. Just need to find a suppolier now.Hey there,
Guessing those are aluminium parts with a small steel spring-tube.. I can't see any threads?
I could probably make you 4 pcs, it would cost you a few hours work and some shipping. And you'd have to send me a sample.
If nothing else turns up..
(I have a small metal-fabrication workshop)
It's always a challenge with the olde-schoole hardware. Components are so much easier to get..
Cheers
I looked through a lot of the Dzus catalogue & couldn't see them, however I found them pretty immediatley in the Camloc catalogue. https://www.hfsindustrial.com/v936f.htmlDefinity DZus 1/4 turns. AMS used to use them too. If you find a modern source i’d be extremely curious!
