I'm trying to figure out how to mod this synthesizer LFO to have a slower speed and increase the range.
It's spec in the service manual is 3 to 15 Hz and that's about what I'm getting when I simulate it. The R17 (100k fader) sets the speed.
If I change C2&C3 to 220 nF, the minimum speed decreases to about 0.8 Hz. But the maximum is only about 3 Hz
I have another synth that has a LFO range from 0.3 to 31 Hz that works well so, ideally, I'd like to reduce the minimum to about that and keep as much range as possible.
Any ideas on how to do that with this design?
The circuit for the other synth is really different and I don't want to be too invasive on circuit changes. And the other is a square & triangle (Moog) and I don't want to completely change it as this one produces a sine wave (Roland).
