nope, pultec is simply input>passive filter>amplifier

The MP is much more than - and topologically quite different from - the pultec

I've always wondered about the topology of the MP. Is it a serial cascade of passive filter and makeup gain for each band? Or is everything done in parallel, which seems less plausible due to all the potential interactions.
