Hi all,

I just got a pair of maselec 9001 EQ cards for SSL 4K off evilbay.

I would like to rack them up, so here are a couple of questions:

Does the card use the same pots (same values and taper) that were standard in the 4K for frequency, Q and level?

Anyone has the pinouts for the edge connector?

Of course the schematic would be too cool, who knows...

Thanks in advance!

Greetz,

Rogy

Yep. They plug right in.

There should also be sockets in there for G-series versions...

Leif hasn't shared the schematic, so you won't have any luck there, but the standard SSL 82E02 edge connector pinout will work.

Did they have any others, or just the 2 that you got?

Keith

Hello,
sorry to bring up this topic again. are the 9001 cards ok to be plugged on an SSL E series dated 1982?
the console currently has a mixture of brown and orange EQs.

Best,
Mattia.

great,thank you.
I am not where the console is so I can't check,
is the SL611EK81 the main channel board where all the daugheters are connected to ?

Best,
Mattia.

Yep.

SL611E is the board, revision level will be the letter, last two digits will be the year... so SL611EM83 is 'M' revision, 1983 design.

Anything that will accept an 82E02 should accept a 9001.
