OK,
So we have 2 48 channel Neve 66 series consoles.
One is in a million pieces and the other is built and in use.
We have added a further 12 channels to the end which is basically just being used as a sidecar for tracking.
We cant seem to find any info on the maximum amount of channels this console can handle, as the routing is handled by the computer we cant add this last bucket as the daisy chain cable that interconnects the address decoders doesn't have the capacity. Were wondering if we just got another cable made with provision for another bucket whether the system would pick it up?
I know knowledge on this console is thin as there are only 60 in existence iirc.
any gurus out there that can answer this?
