Hiya for anyone whos interested maybe NYD, was rumidging around in my junk boxes & found enough bits & bobs ( well nearly} to knock up a Mccurdy AU300.
Mounted the tubes on a bit of ali & birds nested the components between the tube sockets.
One of my previous projects has a Sowter 9045 mic tran built in plus XLR in & phantom,so I ran the 3 tran output leads out of the box into the AU300 circuit.
borrowed the LT & HT from another project tho the HT is 280V maybe a little high?
Thing thats missing is the output tran so have used 2 resistors & 2 capacitors for testing.
And it sounds great & the gain system thing works a treat,will be ordering Sowter output tran tomorow.
