Mic and Mod Kits

Hey there, not sure if this is in the right section but thought id ask the question.

Anyone have any experience with the mic and mod kits? I was looking at building the gssl comp and maybe the pultec clone..

I was just wondering has anyone tried them and how they would rate them? I was looking at the aml pultec clone also? Would the mic and mods kids sound as good as the aml stuff?

I bought some parts there. Good service. but: you mentioned two Different kits. Just compare their Price. aml Uses two tubes, Different transformers etc. I'd rather not recommend buying the pultec as kit from micandmod. You can go cheaper and have more possibilities (e.g  own Front Panel..)
Gssl may be worth trying. Depends on your skills
