I just got a Moog Prodigy and it's a cool little synth. I've seen some of the mods other folks have done and I would like to do the same.
So, anyone have a Prodigy that they've modded?
I'm wondering specifically about a couple things.
First - to drop the 2nd oscillator another octive should I add another 2M resistor next to R25 at the octave switch or should I add a different trimmer + switch and do it at R20.
Second - I think adding a noise generator could be nice. I've found some DIY generators that look real easy and should work fine at 12v. Anyone else do this?
Any other mods I should do?
The other thing with the unit - it came with 2 mods done but I could only figure out 1 of them (it sounds strange, I know). But there were holes drilled in the front panel for switches. The switches had come apart and there wasn't really anything left from them. 1 was to turn the glide on and off - that was an easy fix. The other hole is in the filter section. There weren't really any remains of the switch left and I can't find hints of what was hooked up to what. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
