I have a few Motorola MC68HC705CBS microcontrollers pulled from an EELA broadcast console. It is an 8 bit micro with just under 8K of EPROM and 256bytes of RAM plus a bunch of IOs. They are UV eraseable so they could be used again. Are these of any use to anyone? Free to a good home.

Cheers

Ian

The problem with these is trying to find a decent free compiler for them. I'd normally turn to SDCC for this kind of thing, but even that doesn't support them. They're a 68HC05 CPU internally, and all the compilers I've seen mentioned are either paid for or demos of paid for products. And if it ain't FOSS I don't want to know ;)

So while I'd normally jump on this kind of vintage hardware, I'll pass this time.
