I'm looking to use an external PSU for my 'soon to be' 8 channel API pre ala Fabio Bauman 312 PCB.. I'm thinking I'll need an 8 conductor cable. Does anyone know of a place where i can get quality 8 conductor cable? Everything from Mouser pretty much needs a minimum of 100ft.. Any other suggestions of what i should use?

You could braid together twisted pairs of wire.
It looks pretty slick when its all done. I made a 6 conductor wire using 3 pairs of zip cord braided.

Think of something looking like this, but not cat5 cabling:

I used the zip 16 awg speaker cable from rat shack.
