I've been involved with sound production on an off for 28 years. I've seen 25 core screened cables run as 8 balanced pair multicore without returns or P48 connected with DB25's to tails with minimal crosstalk. It did the job for decades before I knew what lay beneath the carpet of that auditorium. With that level of 'caution to the wind', is that considered minimun standard or, is there a brand of DVI cable that people have used for 7 or even 8 shieled pairs of audio signal running P48 between DB25's?
