acquired in a "lot" sale of a retired technicians 'spares' collection.
This is a vintage early 1970's NEVE BA283AV in complete condition, but with unknown functional status (untested).
It originally came from a NEVE 1064 Channel that I also received in the Lot sale, and they were also used in 1073 1066 1084 et al


EDIT: Flynn pointed out my typo (see below). As the Thread title and PCB indicates it is BA283AV not the BA183AV.

You sure it's a 183 ? It has 283 written on the pcb, & every 183 I have seen in about thirty 1064's I have serviced has the power transistor at right angles compared to a 283. see attached pic
