Hey guys,

New to this site, recommended by a teacher of mine.  I have a project build coming up for an electronics class and I would like to be a new Preamp for my Turntable.

I recently upgraded to an Analog table, yet my stereo does not have a phono input so I needed a preamp, I went cheap, it's a Behringer Microphono PP400.  From what I have learned, with this preamp I am converting the sound to an RIAA format.  I am wanting to stick as analog as possible, preferably using tubes.

If you guys have any advice it would be greatly appreciated, whenever I start the build I'll post a thread about it. Thanks!

Highly recommended:

Built one for myself last year with excellent results...
Cost in total are approx. 100 EUR + housing.

Big benefit and the reason for me to built it:
- fully configurable
- symmetrical in- and output (I am using an MC Cartridge with it).
- gain setting via on board DIP switches

There is no need for the high end power supply that is offered on the site, too.
A simple 317/337 power supply will do as there is already some filtering on board.
