Hi,

I bought this console from a french guy, he said it worked well, turns out it doesn't... not the first time. Well i like the console look and would like to fix it, thing is i can't find a schematic to trace the circuit and see where things could go wrong.

I can get signals through but it's distorted and missing low end...

Anyway here are some pics, i really hope someone can help, i don't want to leave this on the shelf... it needs to record :)

Do you have a capacitor checker? Do you have the ability to do an amplitude sweep through this unit? Do all channels and all outputs have the same sound? This sounds like it could be dried up electrolytic caps, particularly in the master modules.
These look like pretty standard circuits for the time period, should be resolvable without the schematics etc.

This looks to have mic inputs. What are you feeding it from and at what level? Do you have the EQ set flat? Does is do the same on every channel?

Cheers

Ian
