Put a 4-40 flat head screw through this into a standoff and now you have instant PCB mounts without drilling any holes. They require 16 lbs of force to move so I could see them used even in permanent installations.

Of course they would only work with steel enclosures.

Also, note that, just from looking at the drawing, it looks like it takes an undercut head or it wont seat perfectly. Then you need probably at least 5/16" screws but I might just go long to get a male post instead of a female hole and use hex standoffs as hand-tightened nuts. And 4-40 is a little small. My builds are usually exercises in minimization so I like 4-40. But no doubt there are #6 parts.
