Cool.... I'd like to do this, but it would be my first micmoddingproject. It can't be too hard I suppose.

I'd have to know what kind of capsules you'd want to use for it. And do you have a schematic of these ?

greetings,
Paul

Apparently the SWA is simply a 6dB amp (with balancing transformer) which acts as a supply for the KMA when powered from48V. It does not contain the necessary impedance converter which is contained in the original KMA mic.

Therefore, this is not a simple job. I'd almost recommend selling them on Ebay and buying something else to be honest.

yeh thats right,,, but i have already a  collection :)
in the capsule, the kma or kml are fet,s inside
like the pm750 from gefell
i dont have a schematic
output is high enough for a standaard pre amp

As Rody said, the swa is just a 6 dB amp with a DC supply, so the original schemo won't help you much if you want to use it with anything else than the KMA.

From the Neumann spare parts documentation, it appears that the output transformer of the SWA bears the same reference than the KM83/84/85.
That makes it the most interesting component of the SWA.

You could then use the KM84 schematic as a starting point:
