Neumann KM 86Schemo for all

I can't say enough good things about this mic. It has always worked for me on anything I put it on.

I have two KM86i's do you have a schematic ? Not sure if the KM86 is the same? :?:

I got a pair of 86i's myself. I love them. As for the schemo I think that is the 86I. If not it should be very similar. I do not know off had what the difference was between the 86 and 86I or if there ever was another version other then the 86I.

Hi,
in the past neumann used the "i" for "international".

The german Radiostations used small Tuchel connectors and in the USA thy used XLR. So the "i" Version of an old Neumann mic is a Version with a XLR Connector.

The KM86 and KM86i are absolutly indentical. Only the KM86 has a tuchel and the KM86i has a XLR.

Today all Neumann mics have a XLR so there are no "i"´s anymore....
