Here's some instructions to get the best finish out of your kits!

Also don't forget to replace the crappy phillips screws holding the headbasket. To get the right look, I've included nice stainless steel slotted screws.

If you've ordered multiple kits, they'll be inside one of the body boxes.

Mine arrived yesterday.
So well packed.
I’m nearly done with my M49 clone.

So guys ... I'm done !
Thanks so much to Banzai, Ericbazar for his help with the resistor choice to match the transformer.
Chris Galbraith from Fab for his great Transformer and help for wiring it.
This is my first tube mic.
I made a test for your guys.
No processing, no fancy preamp,  just in front of my computer :D

Congrats!!! Just curious, what resistor choice?

Merry christmas!!!

M.

I ask ericbazar, cause the original Neumann schematic use a Transformer with a 7:1 ratio.
He recommend me, when I want to use 10:1 ratio, I should change r10 from 100k to 200k-220k.
Also the trimpod is now at ca. 3,9k instead of 2.2k.
Sure it will also work with the other, but I ask him to help me.

 Gongrats! Nice Build.
Enjoy this beautiful Mic.

You can use instead of the trimmer, a good vishay/beyschlag 3,9k resistor.

Merry Christmas!

I havnt  received any shipment number or confirmation. I’ve checked the Spam etc

i think mic sounds great. gonna try the 6s6b tube too :)
have you used m49 b or c shematics?

I used the m49c schematic.
I only used the PCB cause I buy them from poctop one year ago.
You can also use point to point wiring.

My package  also arrived today.  No problems with the Swedish Post this time.
I started this project (building M49 mics) 25 months ago... Now I can finally finish it.

The wait has been long, but not in vain. I'm happy to have found the russian 6s6b tubes. They are way better than all the 5840-tubes I have tested: Much lower noise and much lower microphony.

Thank you, Banzai!
