Hi Chaps
I've just brought out our U77 for the first time in a long time as I've just bought a Canford Audio T12 mains power supply. Previously we were using a battery operated one, but that got a bit expensive so we retired the mic until we got the new PS.
Fast forward about 8 months and we've just tested the U77. Sadly, it has now lost all bottom end/ low mids, so sounds very harsh and tinny. We've tried operating it with batteries, a phantom-T12 adapter, changing leads etc, all to no avail.
Any of you knowledge chaps have a recommendation as to where to start fault finding?
