Just wondering, as I only have experience with the 66 series.
are there any other Neve consoles that use the eurobeeb computer cards?

The reason I ask is that I have been creating a new linux based system using the gorgeous little rasberry pi platform to bring our neve a little more up to date.
I'm currently working on a way to dump/restore the presets from the sideways ram cards.

Were also creating some custom perspex (plexiglass) panels for the penthouse of our console incorporating a 7" monitor for interfacing with the computer, while not in use it displays a fancy neve logo on the screen, purely for vanity reasons, but looks great!

will post up some pics soon!

Go for it!  If you need it, others will as well.  Updating any old system is a noble endeavor.  After you envelop and learn one system, you have the skills to look at others.

I was inspired the other day with the Dramastic iPad interface for the SL4000 abacus.

I hope someone will be quantumly inspired to do the same with the 9000 architecture.

Another dessicating hardware infrastructure is the IDRIS.  I luv ya, but you are more than long in the tooth!
Mike
