Hi
I want to ad Line input on EZ1290 and Access API 312.
There is a way to ad a IC based Line input (-20/+20) ?
Someone suggest me a simple resistive pad on input MIC transformer to pull down the signal of 40db,but my dubt is the S/N ratio...
Thanks in advance...

DPDT switch pins:
12
34
56

2x 750 ohm resistors
1x 160 resistor

750: 1 and 3
750: 2 and 4
160: 5 and 6

xlr / trs go to 1 and 3
input transformer primary goes to 3 and 4

Try if it works for you, it's a 20 db pad

Thanks alphasnk

But I would like to use this channels for a custom console project, and want to use the transformer on tracking but not on mixing...

For this motivation I'm searching an ispiration for Ic based Line inserted on preamp circuit .

Just one question, the pad on mic input transformer pull down 20db and after transformer push up signal again...

There is a degradation of sound o noise increase?

Thanks!
