Hey guys!

After replacing faders on our console, the existing caps are a touch loose.  I don’t want anything permanent but wondered about something like this so they stay on while in use?

Any help much appreciated!
Thanks,
Sig

Hello

Is that T bar type ? can't inserted paper sheet or tin cardboard be enough for a tight mount ?

I don't recommand silicon glue... can be a mess to clean
Like Scott, I'll avoid any adhesive, or a very soft one (to ensure it's removable without braking things)

In the past I'll have opposite issue, too tight mount, scary to remove the caps without breaking things or bending fader guide rails.
Now each time I need to put or move a caps on a fader i do it close to top or bottom end travel, less mechanical stress...

Best

I have used Plumbers Tape in this case, works very well as it is slippery.

Hope this helps

Just use standard neoprene glue, the liquid one, not the gel. Apply lightly to the T-bar, and a drop into the cap. Let dry before fitting. Just make sure you don't pour any into the fader guts!
