As my audio gear is aging figured it was time to get up on the learning curve. Retired USAF electronics tech, ground based navigation systems, but nothing close to audio. Was trained on mostly tube based equipment and very little solid state. Haven't touched anything in that capacity since 1995.

My audio gear is mostly Pioneer, SA-9800, TX-9800, pair of now non-functional CT-F1000s (probably belt/s related), pair of PL-L1000s, dbx128, and an Akai GX 635 which I had refurbed about 10yrs ago. All except the casstte decks still work today, well, not sure about the turntables, haven't attempted to use either for probably 15yrs or more.

Anyway, hope to learn some things to keep my stuff going.
