hi thomas,
good to see you around the forum again!
i'm wondering if you've had a chance to listen to these transformers in a neve-type circuit (one of your own maybe)?  if you have, do you have any comments on the sound (in general and particularly in the neve amps)?
cheers,
grant

I just placed an order for a box of LL1538 and they said that they will send me a sample of the output to. Can't wait to try it, I have had a couple of other samples from them to but havn't got time to try them yet. Will get back with the price, it's not in my list.

thanks for the heads up... definitely sounds interesting.. let us know how it goes...

Price in SEK (swedish krona) ex VAT One ex price. Just use google for your exchange rate. Ex. "670 SEK in Euro"
LL1936 = 629:00
LL2734 = 670:00

Is there some particular original where the feedback winding is used? I just don't know this stuff very well. More of a tube guy myself. I saw this product accidentally a couple of weeks ago and was wondering where and how was it used.

Any how, I can see that it is useful for many new desings.

I guess I have to get one to play with too. Actually used one day to play with simulations right away with mosfet stage.

OTOH I quite don't fully get the idea of using this transformer for anything "neve" particularly, even if it is clearly designed as such.(Yes I know, single ended sand state output = Neve) But I'm very, very interested to hear about the results too!

> in Sweden, add 25% in taxes

Yeah, there's always other costs. Shipping, customs, distributor. And prices change with the cost of metals, labor, and how good/bad business is. And kronor/$ rates change constantly.

I just wanted a "rough" idea. More than a 6-pack of beer, less than a whole beer-truck.

Hey Tekay,
Have you tried them, any results to report?
