Let’s get physical!!
A friend of mine has a fitness studio here. They started doing online Zoom classes due to the whole COVID thang, and I recently set them up with some wireless headset mic’s & a small mixer to improve their presentation. I would like to make it less prone to issues, and I’m wondering you cool cats have an idea or 2.
Here’s is how it is currently configured:
- 2 x Shure wireless
- ART USBmix4
- Acer laptop with windows 10 installed
- Samson Bluetooth speaker (not my choice)
The music is played from the laptop. Microphones & music go over Zoom via screen share. The music is played in the studio via Bluetooth without the mic’s. The setup works, but the Bluetooth has proven unreliable.
What I would like to do is set up some sort of software routing to take only the music output from the computer, and use an analog connection to the speaker to eliminate the Bluetooth altogether. Something “set and forget” preferred as I want to keep operation as simple as possible.
Thanks in advance!
