Got it, thanks! Annnd one more new question today:
I'm considering ways to shrink this design down a bit, trying to make a VERY small Alice mic using this circuit -- but that would include shrinking the PCB layout/removing components.

To make a version of this mic with no pad, no HPF, and no LPF, would I simply remove C1 - C2 - C3 - C4 - R4 - R5 - R11 (and the switches) from the circuit? Or are those components doing more than pad/filter? I'm not exactly a CAD expert, but I think I could at least remove components and reroute wires easily enough, if that's all that would be needed.
