Orphan Peerless K241D

I building an LA-2A. I have all the important bits that make it special.  However, I have an orphan Altec K241D transformer.  Has anyone ever used one instead of an A-10 or HA-100? How was the character changed?

I'm at the decision point.

My K241D isn't an orphan anymore. I traded it to someone for the transformers needed to restore my old Berlant 20/20 Tape recorder.  After I get the restoration stable I'll make it into a series 30.  Currently it's a half track and I'll invest in heads to make it a quarter track.

Fun times ahead.
