What is everyone protecting the traces of their PCB's with, after you make them. Is covering the traces with some sort of ployurethane a good way? Or is there already some sort of stuff available that you can spray or paint on the entire board?

Also does anyone know where I can get an "affordable" heat press to make the press-n-peel process more accurate? under $100

Nothing. Never been a problem, even for boards serving in the muggy NYC area for decades.

Move out of Florida, or at least away from the sea.

Many years I use the mixture mentioned by xvlk.
You use it before soldering, after cleaning the board with metalwool.
