Hello-

I am building another MILA and I am pondering the idea of putting a voltage divider after the 90v anode, filtering it with a large cap and using this for 48v.

Any experience with such a design?

Does this make sense?

Thanks-

I am doing 2 channels @ 11ma 300v each and the power transformer is rated at 120ma 250v ct. Do you think that's enough?

I am overbuilding this one to use as a giging bass pre and I want to be able to use a condenser with a pickup so only one channel will be used if at all.

I also want it to work for 40 years...

Thanks

It took me a while to get to the 48v section of that meta. Its the same problem when I used to pick up an encyclopedia.

I was wondering why I had never seen it in a schematic.

Thanks-

Nice thread. Thanks.

An interesting solution for an abundance of B+...

2 24v zeners after the first filter cap.

Hot.
