Pinch Roller Bearing Lubrication

For the tape machine folks: What are you using to lubricate your Capstan Sleeve (pinch roller) bearings? The manual for my Otari specifies using Anderol 456 lubricant and cautions against using anything else. I haven't had any luck looking for the Anderol, except one company which appears to sell it in 55gallon drums. I found a guy on ebay selling a synthetic oil for all kinds of uses, which he also claims is specifically OK for Otari tape machines. He has not answered my email containing some questions about his product. Any suggestions?

I have two Ampex decks, and I highly recommend turbine oil. I use the "Zoom Spout" bottles, was able to find it at my local Ace Hardware.

I'd use what Otari recommends but I have some light "spindle" oil that I got from McMaster-Carr. It's designed for fast spinning spindles. I've been using it for things that turn for about a year and it's worked and i haven't noticed any ill effects.
