Anybody recognize this DB25 AES/EBU wiring format ? (see attached pic)

It's a snake with DB-25 (Male) to 4*XLR3-Male + 4*XLR3-Female and intended for a stereo pair on each XLR-3

(so 8 channels of IN and 8 channels of OUT, non-surprising, but haven't seen this pinout on the DB25 before

- the Hot & Cold pairs are on the left (INPUTS) & right (OUTPUTS) sides of the DB25 connector,
with the GNDs grouped in the middle of the DB25)

It isn't Tascam, nor Yamaha... didn't know there could be others...

Was pretty surprised to see it wired like this, since such cables came with some Tascam gear (not in-the-box-from-Tascam though), so I assumed the Tascam-DB25-wiring. Glad I measured the connectivity.

Any info appreciated, thanks!

Euphonix have their own Dsub AES standard for a start.

Hi Rob,

Thanks, I checked one of their manuals and saw the variety in DB25-connectivity is even more overwhelming than I thought!  ::)  Ough!
