Hi,

I just bought a pioneer SR-202. I would like to cut out the direct signal.

I've been staring at the schematic. So could someone give some advice?

I think it might be R117/R118 5.6K? I'm only guessing. I don't think the signals get mixed by the wafer switch (S1) which I can't figure out.

Best,

Zander

PS I know the schematic is the 202w model.

There is a single reverb tank inside.
Simply drive the left channel and take the reverb signal from the right output!
(No input signal, only the reverb signal. By the way: don't expect too much... I had the SR-202 in the past and it produces a pretty 'twangy' and 'boinky' spring reverb.)

Hi,

I first tapped the #4 & #10 leads which gave me the same output as the normal outputs. So the direct signal is already mixed in at this stage I guess.

As I suspected when I removed the resistors R117/118 the direct signal was cut out completely plus it gave a bit more gain on the output. I guess I got lucky because I'm not that much educated in transistor amplifier circuits.

Thanks all for the help.

PS I kinda like the lofi spring spice...
