I have a stocktronics plate reverb.
The mic came off the plate. Can i soldier it back or do i break the mic?

Looks as though the mike in the first picture might be a TSB165 condenser element from JLI Electronics. The capsule has no internal FET & needs to feed an 2SK170 or 2N3819 fet then into a preamp. Details can be found on the Yahoo Microphone Builders forum.

Do not try to solder it to the plate, rather use something like automotive goop on the outside edge of the transducer body; making sure the mike is in intimate contact with the plate.

On third pic you see where the mic was connected on the plate.
it is a kind of screw that is sitting through the plate.
on the second pic you can see the side of the mic that was connect on that screw.
the mic looks different than the JLI electronic mic's and thinner.
