Hi,

I'd like to remove my PM-1000's "Cue" button switches right below the input channel faders and use those holes to mount some TRS jacks for direct outs.

My stupid newbie question is:

Since I have no use for the cue mix bus, in removing the "cue" switches, would it be ok if I just removed R87 and R88 plus the wires they are attached to, or are those resistors and wires at all important for the input channels' operation?

I ask partly because it seems like the junction before R87 is important.

I would really appreciate anyone's help with this...

It will not effect anything if you remove them. You intuition was right, those resistors only are in a complete circuit if the cue switch is there. Take the cue switch out, and the resistors are just dangling doing nothing. But no harm just leaving them in....probably save yourself the extra work.

Actually the resistors are soldered directly on to the switch so I guess they'll just have to go away with the rest of it. ;)

Thanks for the help.
