Hello,
racking up a pair of pm1000 modules and all the modules I have (4) are frying power resistors. I stripped them of the output faders, echo pots etc...
Haven't recapped them yet. Transistors look good.
Wondering if this is a known issue? do I need to put the output faders back on? I don't know....
Thanks
EDIT:Circuit is fine unit I put in either of the PNP transistors, these make up part of the output stage of each section...I'm thinking somehow the circuit is getting biased to pull too much current...
EDIT: FIXED! Who else has ever had a DMM with the polarity reversed? Had the power backwards!! :
