You can get pots where the flat is in different positions,  basically the four quadrants.  You can also get knobs like this as well.  So that can be a workaround. But not always easy to find in small quantities.

There are the classic unobtanium pots that only AML sells, so I'm kinda stuck with what I got.

I have knobs that I would LIKE to use, and I'm hoping the Banzai adapters will allow me to bodge it.

Do you have a link for that? I searched and couldn't find them.

I actually ordered some from Banzai music but they claimed they were having problems shipping to the US, so that's on hold.

Capi also have some 1/8" to 1/4"

So I actually didn't want to glue anything and make it sorta permanent, so I've been waiting for Banzai to ship the adapters I ordered from them in May, and they finally shipped and have landed at the DHL hub here in the states, and are on the way. Hopefully these will work.

OK, so the pot shafter adapters arrived today after about 3.5 months. This was because of some sort of disagreement between the US Gov't and Deutsche Post (translated, Donald Trump did another stupid thing).

So, the adapters worked exactly as I had hoped. I was worried that because the pot shafts were D-Shafts (not completely round), that the adapter wouldn't grab enough of the shaft to get enough grip, and they would slip. But the adapter needed to be pressed onto the 4mm shafts were a fair amount of pressure, so they were already a tight fit even before the set screw on the knobs added some additional pressure. These things are fantastic and I highly recommend them.

In the pic you can see a finished EQ on the right, and on the left, you can see two pots with the adapters pressed on, and two without.

If anyone is still looking for adapters, these are really nice.  Machined as opposed to cut brass tubing.
