I have a PreSonus Studio Channel that doesn't pass any signal. You can hear a very faint signal if you crank the gain up, but nothing registers on the VU and nothing goes to the output except that VERY faint signal. This appears to be a super common problem with the Studio Channel, with a lot of people asking for help on how to fix it. I couldn't find any threads on this here, so I thought I'd ask around here if anyone has seen this issue, and what causes it? Looking inside the unit, there's nothing obviously wrong.
I know certain PreSonus preamps had some issue with phantom power being sent to the output and that causing issues. The original TubePre had issues like that.
Given the value of these things, they cost more to repair than to just buy another used one. It'd be nice if there were a fix available. If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate some guidance. I do not have a schematic, and could not find one.
