Haven't used it in a while an it's old. It works great for 30 seconds then fizzes out to no sound even when bypassed. By fizz out I mean as I play through it it starts to distort then all sound goes away. If I hit strings really hard I get a few more distorted fizzes then all is gone. If unplug either of the 2 output jacks and plug back in it works again for 30 sec? Any ideas? Bad caps? The pot for intensity had the back popped off it and i repaired it. It works ok controlling intensity till it shuts off.

It may be a different cap problem, if this is using a BBD analog delay chip, the analog shift register generally uses a cap coupled input  biased up to a DC operating point. If the cap has become leaky, it could shift the DC operating point that would give the symptom you describe.. fuzzy distortion then silence.

However this does not make sense with the output jack symptom... that sounds like a bad solder connection.

I would still look at the DC voltage of the AC signal going into the BBD.

JR.
