PSU Box with plastic fronts

Hi. I bought thes boxes with the intent of yousin them as PSU's. Is there an issue with these havin a hard plastic front and back?

Depends how "determined" you are when connecting / disconnecting things.

You'll want to make double sure the shells of the mic connectors (if these are for tube mic psu's) are properly connected to the metal parts of the case, and to mains earth. Otherwise i kinda doubt the "incomplete" shielding would be much of an issue.

So if I ground the xlr's to the metal of the chassis it would be ok?

I used something very similar for an ElAm 251 build and it seems fine.
