Hey fellow Group DIY members,
For my first thread I decided to catalogue my EQP1A point to point build with raintons beautiful chassis. I'm still waiting for a few parts and should have some pics posted up soon. As for my components: I decided to go with carbon comp AB resistors, for the caps (filter section )all polypropylene/some polystyrene, with NOS aerovox caps for the rest. I'm also using a custom inductor from audiomaintenance limited. For the switches I took martins advice and got ahold of the Russian ceramics. The on/off is the original arrow H&H. Lastly, for transformers: I am using Sowter 9527s, I have a sowter 9330 for interstage but just found a matched pair of Triad HS29's. I have a Triad HS-56 and a Cinemag S-217D on the way. Stay tuned will posted pics of my build.
