Hi all,
I thought I'd share another project I recently finished up. I'm really starting to get obsessed with the Quad Eight / Electrodyne sound. I happened upon some Quad Eight CA27 line amp cards a few months ago and already had a pair of Electrodyne ACN-1P active combining networks. I decided to combine these for a rough and tumble 24x2 summing mixer with a single gain knob and a pair of VU meters. I built it into this vintage Bud Industries enclosure. Runs on +-24VDC It was getting pretty hot inside, so I had drill some air holes.

I'm leveraging JLM Palpigrades on the inputs to do the unbalancing. Purchased some original Quad Eight output transformers from Ken over at Orphan Audio. This thing sounds stellar.

I don't currently have a need for it, so I have listed over on Reverb.
