Getting out while the getting is good. With all the diy pedals and circuit pcb cards for sale and parts from Tayda electronics, it would be a hard sell today.

I don't know if he recovered from his comments on the riots but really, most of his products were derivative and not original designs. Good on him for keeping it in the U.S. and making a quality product though this may have been just as much about control. I'd say he had good run, didn't achieve the mythical klon status but brought out some good updates. [ And he does seem to indicate that the business will continue ]
