Towards the end of his life, my father once commented that the only time he wore a suit was to the funeral of one of his friends. Losses like this make me feel the same way. It's the beginning of the end of an era.

I don't even own a suit, and if I bought one now it would be to wear to my own funeral... but not today I hope.  ;D

It is the curse of getting older that you see so many friends and relatives die... but that is better than them seeing you die.
