• Sony MU-R201 reverb -won’t power up; used to work fine €80
• Electrospace Developments ‘Spanner’ auto panner –built like a tank but stopped working all of a sudden. A top notch bit of kit —rolled steel case, the works. €260

Nice with that Spanner! I have a MU-R201 (it has an Auto Panning Algorithm as well). Was looking at it before (Spanner and that Audio Design Recording unit also..). Anyways, those purple CE (with a triangle) -Matsushita? caps are NOTORIOUS in gear from this age. I'll bet those caps have gone haywire
