I have a hard copy of this book. it is brilliant. The only one that goes into proper practical detail about tube noise.

It's unbelievable how fortunate I and many others are to have access to some of the information we do. From what I understand, a book like that Cherry/Hooper would've cost a small fortune.......

Don't know what to make of how unknowing I am of most everything with all of the answers right there , freely given....

Somewhat embarrassed to say but, I was just enlightened here that I could use my multimeter to test for current.  Sure enough, it's info that's all over. Just never thought about looking for it....fascinating how that happens... I can see why teaching is such an important thing.  A more refined and focused  process I'd imagine.

I realize there are many readings that aren't floating around freely yet and it would be interesting to see if anything translates easier than some things to me but, chances are, I'd come across information that wouldn't be appropriate for that time in my learning anyhow. Some of the Youtube channels are getting pretty good and there are some that I'm just discovering with a good supply of easy to understand explanations  & methods

Very humbling to be among so many great minds here obviously and it's incredibly uplifting to know you are all here on this planet .....

Next pp amp will be like this but with 7591a (for some 15Wrms) and able to sub others, like some 7581a power kings  ...

and some current sources to further low thd 

Nix the 7199, 6bc-wat-now and global nfb ...  and instead use a nice input traffo, a 6SL7+6SN7 combo for  fully balanced throughout with class.

...  still leaves nfb at drivers and finals      ..  kind of like a ua175 without the GR and plus power!
