Is there any point trying to use relays down at this level?
The contact change-over noise seems to be too intrusive...
I did try a momentary muting arrangement in a cursory way but it didn't seem fast enough to catch the 'splash'...
Answers 'yes' or 'no' expected and appreciated! ;-)

Oh thanks Kamel!
Anyone have any tips on equivalents of the Panasonic available through RS or Farnell? I can get the Panasonics from Newark but would rather find a domestic source...

Cheers

The Frantone pedal line uses a small relay to do the bypass switching. Siemens V23079. I've owned a couple of these pedals and it seemed to work just fine.
