Hey there,
in a big tape machine psu i have to change two chunky 34800uf 50v caps, that sit right after the rectifiers.
i can find either 33000uf or 36000uf. Would both values do? Or is one preferable?

thanks!

ps: i also found the exact value at TEDs, but its already having a 12 year shelf life and id rather get something new.

Most electrolytics are +/-10 to 20% in value (even more for older ones). If the form factor fits, the 36000 might be ok. 33000 probably the safer bet (for in-rush current).

Perfect, ill get the 33000uf then. Found one model with the exact same diameter as the original, so i can use the existing clamps. Thanks!
