I just got a Lexicon LXP-1 reverb processor. It was a good deal but there are a couple of issues. First, the input and output 1/4 inch jacks on the back of the unit all have the plastic broken off so they need to be replaced. The unit functions without them but I would like to replace them. Does anyone know where I can find these? I looked at the digikey site but I can't find them. The jacks are pcb mount, and it looks like they have 4 lugs.

Also there are six Nichicon TX(M) 85*C 25V 1000uF capacitors and a couple of them have a bulging top and look like they might be leaking so I want to replace those too. The problem is the TX series don't appear to be in production anymore. Does anyone know of the current replacement?

They need a DPDT switch built-in? Do you remember if they have to be balanced (stereo) jacks or can I just use a mono jack?

You need jacks with switches built in, they are used to send the input to both channels if only one input is used and to sum both channels when only one output is used.

Cheers,

Mike

Just stick any 1000uF  25V (or more) cap in there that fits

I looked at the jacks and it says "SING TAIWAN" on the back, I didn't come up with anything when doing a google search except for an electronics recycling company. I guess I'll get the jacks from JLM audio, or maybe I'll just leave them alone.

does anyone have the schematic for the LXP1? i am replacing a broken jack on mine as well and there appears to be a problem with the output pot.

I've uploaded schemos on my band's server.
Here you go:
www.elemental.com.hr/media/studio/Lexicon%20LXP-1.rar

I won't be able to have it for a long time up on the server, so please if someone could reupload it on some filesharing service.

:)
