Imo, this is single-handedly, the most important characteristic one must possess when first approaching DIY...or life.
It's kinda like that first lesson your dad taught you when you saw that your sister left the tap running...and you exclaimed "Dad look!...she left the tap running again!??" ...and he looked at you kinda angrily...and said "So go shut it off??"
